Production Supervisor

**Who are we?**

BlueSky Modular Buildings is only 7 years young and we manufacture quality portable, modular buildings, such as site offices and accommodation, demountable classrooms, and modular learning spaces. We sell to portable building hire companies who offer portable offices and ablutions. All of our portable modular buildings are relocatable and suit temporary or permanent building needs. BlueSky Modular Buildings is an ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 48001 accredited company and is based in Smeaton Grange NSW.

**About the role**

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Review the daily schedules and prepare team for production
- Conduct a morning brief of work tasks to be completed by the end of the day. Record this brief in the Integrated Management System.
- Meet and brief Managing Director each morning
- Conduct a daily walk through for WHS risks and hazards, remove and report if needed
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Organise and facilitate weekly toolbox talks for all team members
- Strong communication and coordination with Purchasing Officer to ensure all materials required are available for production
- Complete final Quality Building checklists
- Manage, supervise, coach and mentor apprentices and team members
- Supervise, coordinate and direct trades
- Ensure production of buildings is on time
- Update SWMS/SOPS in consultation with the team
- Attend and contribute to handover meetings for projects
- Operate FrameCad and communicate with CAD and detailers when required regarding drawings
- Other tasks as directed by the Managing Director.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- Cert IV in Building and Construction or similar experience
- Current CPR and First aid certificate
- Current Forklift License
- White Card
- Framecad knowledge
- 3-5 years experience in a leadership role.

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

- Smeaton Grange, NSW 2567: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Leadership: 3 years (preferred)
- Carpentry: 5 years (preferred)
