**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Undertake Government outsourced Skills Assessments.
- Provide Government outsourced Workplace Assessments.
- Provide Recognition of Prior Learning assessments for eligible Cookery and/or Bakery and/or Patisserie qualifications clients for the Institute.
- Provision of training and assessment in offshore locations and offshore campuses as directed by the Institute.
- Provide advice and contribute to the development of training and assessment strategies and assessment frameworks.
- Assist with the development and provision of documentation and processes to meet any Government and audit requirements.

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- An approved vocational qualification in Cookery, and/or Bakery and/or Patisserie and approved industry experience.
- Experience in undertaking skills assessments with Industry experienced professionals is preferred.
- As a minimum the qualification of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116).
- Demonstrated ability and experience to plan, teach and assess in a range of units in the Tourism, Hospitality and Events training package or accredited curriculum, in the areas of Cookery and/or Bakery and/or Patisserie.
- Ability to research and develop appropriate teaching materials and methods of assessment, and adapt delivery and assessment to meet client and student’s needs using appropriate technology in a diverse training and assessment environment.
- Ability to assist/ Demonstrated experience in the preparation of required documentation for government and internal audits.
- Able to travel domestically (local, regional or interstate) and/or internationally for the purpose of undertaking Skills Assessments and workplace assessments.
- Knowledge of current trends in culinary trades, and have a well-developed network of industry
- Ability to contribute to, and be a part of, the teams working within the Strategic Project Development department and ability to co-operate and communicate effectively with Institute staff, students and industry personnel.
