**Your new company**
Your new organisation is an industry leader, with business segments providing advanced Defence and Commercial technologies across Air, Land, Sea, Space and Cyber Domains. This company has an exciting opportunity for a ILS Practitioner, to join their team based in Adelaide.

**Your new role**
The Space Integrate Logistics Support Practitioner is responsible for the provision of advice and technical expertise in Integrated Logistics Support for the sustainment and transition functions under the Sustainment Management Office. The Space ILS Practitioner is accountable to the SDA Product Manager, and will work with all key Space Stakeholders to develop, implement and coordinate ILS frameworks, plans and activities.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Review and moderate Acquisition and Support Contract ILS products for Space systems
- Review and moderate Life Cycle Cost Plan and reports for Space products.
- Review and moderate Obsolescence Plans and reports for Space products.
- Develop ILS plans and procedures for the Space acquisition and sustainment management units.
- Liaison between the CoA and Contractor Engineering/ILS staff.
- Provision of technical regulatory and safety compliance advice.
- Provide mentorship and direction to other ILS practitioners within the SPO.
- Provide input to the Space Acquisition Transition Plans and ensure that transition activities between the Contractor and Commonwealth are meeting the requirements to ensure a compliant upgraded Space transition to Sustainment.
- Provide ILS advice to the Space programs within WASS SPO.
- Continuing quality assurance and configuration assurance of Supportability and ILS artefacts.
- Review and provide advice on contractual statement of work artefacts.
- Annual SSO self-assessment in accordance with the Material Logistics function self-assessment framework

**What you'll need to succeed**
Essential
- Extensive experience in the field of logistics within a Defence acquisition and sustainment context
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication
- NV1 security clearance
