**The Role**

The Demand Planner is an entry level role which will play a central role in supporting the Demand Planning process for Krispy Kreme. This role will be responsible for the development and improvement of processes, tools, reports and provide data analytics to support Krispy Kreme’s supply chain and manufacturing strategic initiatives for our omni channel business.

In this sweet role you will:

- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors.
- Communicate to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. Use market insights, historical sales trends, consumption trends, and channel specific promotional activity assumptions to develop and refine the demand forecast based on market conditions.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, production, and supply chain teams to align demand forecasts with production schedules and incorporate promotional and new product launch plans into the demand forecast.
- Collaborate with supply chain to optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory, balancing revenue-cost efficiency, and support ingredient re-purposing process.
- Ensure demand planning system (Reflex) and other relevant tools are kept up to date and accurately reflect the current agreed demand plan across all horizons and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
- Support monthly S&OP process for assigned brands including maintaining baseline / statistical forecasts, collecting Sales and Marketing forecast drivers, and highlighting changes and drivers in the plan to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate Demand Planning related matters to the delivery of projects that support growth objectives, cost reductions, operational efficiency improvements, and reduce business waste.
- Generate the new product forecast using the historical substitution and like modelling / scenario planning techniques.

- Strong analytical and thinking skills and desire to learn new skills, possessing a sense of urgency and attention to accuracy and detail.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation along with BI or other data manipulation software knowledge.
- Capable of multitasking with rapidly changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work productively and effectively as part of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to appropriately target communication for key stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of team members, managers, and support office teams.
- A commitment to working with a culturally diverse workforce.
- Integrity and a commitment to ethical operations.
- Confidence, passion and enthusiasm about the customer experience and the Krispy Kreme Brand.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (IT, Supply Chain, Finance) or equivalent training and experience required.
- Although an entry level role and full training will be provided, previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- 1-3 years’ experience working in a combination of sales, marketing, or demand planning is also highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of P&L, including variable impacting trends in sales, costing, etc. with an ability to derive messaging based on data.
- Information systems background highly desirable.
