**About the role**

We are recruiting a Financial Analyst from an investment banking background to collaborate closely with the leadership team, taking on a key role in managing the financial activities within the organisation. This individual will be instrumental in advising on investments and actively monitoring the portfolio companies. The primary focus of this role is to support the family in conducting due diligence on select investments and ensuring best practice portfolio monitoring across various asset classes.

**Responsibilities**
- **Strategic Planning**: Collaborate with the leadership team in reviewing, preparing, and developing the business strategic plan, as well as assisting in the development of implementation plans.
- **Due Diligence**: Lead and perform comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, evaluating their financial performance, team credentials, market potential, and risks.
- **Organisation and Monitoring**: Maintain detailed records of all investments, track their performance, and ensure timely follow-ups on required actions.
- **Reporting**: Regularly update the family office on the status, opportunities, and challenges of existing investments.
- **Market Research**: Continuously scout the market for new investment opportunities within the specified sector and perform preliminary assessments.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Liaise with founders and management teams of potential and current investments, building strong professional relationships.
- **Investment Tracking**: Monitor the financial health and operational metrics of portfolio companies.
- **Coordination**: Collaborate closely with family office members to align investment strategies and decision-making.

**Skills and Experience**
- **Education**: An undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- **Experience**: 3+ years of experience in investment banking and 1-2 years of hands-on investment experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry, technology sector, or related fields.
- **Skills**: Strong analytical, research, and quantitative skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels; proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- **Traits**: Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
