We are looking for an energetic and efficient Purchasing Coordinator to join our commercial construction team.

The role offers you the opportunity to work 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) or School hours (Monday to Friday).

Our past and continued success over the last 65 years has ensured that we are able to offer you a position where you will be supporting our commercial construction team with all aspects of purchasing and stock control.

**The Job**:

- Processing purchase orders and providing the purchase orders to suppliers within required time frame.
- Tracking orders and ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods ordered.
- Assessing and monitoring the quality and quantity of products ordered and delivered.
- Coordinate the collection of goods from the warehouse by site staff.
- Evaluate supplier offerings in terms of quality, price, and terms of payment.
- Development and implementation of processes regarding ordering of stock.
- Track and reconcile invoices against delivery notes daily to ensure that the finance team can process payments to suppliers in a timely manner.
- Ensure that returns of over ordered goods and equipment are effectively processed.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and colleagues to facilitate the effective supply and distribution of tools and inventory across the business.

**Your Background**:

- Minimum of 2 years in purchasing or similar role.
- Sound knowledge of inventory management and stock control principles.
- Ability to use applicable computer software.

- Able to communicate clearly, effectively, take and follow direction.
- You should be resourceful and an out of the box thinker.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to think on your feet.
- Be able to effectively manage your time to ensure that multiple and varying deadlines are adhered to.
- Have a customer-first mindset in all interactions with the client and internal stakeholders.
- Innovative, goal-driven, and determined.
- Be adaptable to change.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
