About The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Finance Systems Principal to join the Finance Transformation team in our Brisbane head office. The role is based in a small group with a broad charter; this role will manage the operation and development of business-critical systems and provide hands-on assistance in process improvement and automation projects.

The successful Finance Systems Principal will work collaboratively with SMEs across the business to analyse and capture processes, devise improvements and systemise solutions, and document requirements. The role will work independently or with internal and external support to manage, test and implement solutions while updating stakeholders. Furthermore, the position will support and encourage the ongoing usage of our financial systems, driving best practices and assisting with developing and delivering training and governance content.
About You

You are an analytical and critical thinker who enjoys working with others to unpack a problem, design a solution, and see development and implementation through to completion.

You have well-developed communication skills like helping, supporting, and teaching others.

You enjoy working autonomously and can creatively develop relationships with others from different backgrounds or disciplines to facilitate work in the team.

You will be in a “safe to fail” environment, supported by a friendly team that encourages new/different ideas and ways of working.

Ideally, you will also have worked with OneStream or a similar Enterprise Performance Management solution like IBM TM1, Oracle Hyperion/Fusion Cloud or Workday Adaptive Planning and experience with process automation software (e.g. Power Automate) and/or data modelling (i.e. in Power BI) is an advantage, but not essential.
