**The Role**:
Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Fabrication Supervisor, you will be responsible for the management of the fabrication tool store and ground engaging tools. Your role will be accountable for maximising the effective use of scheduled maintenance, and minimising the impact of unscheduled work through your quality and effective work performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring all works are completed in a safe manner and in compliance with established safe work procedures and systems (i.e. Field Level Risk Assessments, Job Hazard Analysis, Permits).
- Identifying and coordinating resources required to complete tooling maintenance works.
- Ensuring all electrical tooling as well as all lifting and working at height equipment is tagged to the current relevant period.
- Reviewing the lifting and working at height equipment to ensure it is not damaged as it is returned to the tool store. Tag out any equipment deemed unsafe.
- Organising the repair of workshop equipment through external suppliers by raising SAP requisitions, creating dispatch requests and making the equipment ready for safe transportation and delivery to relevant warehouse dispatch points.
- Submitting requisition orders for required parts and components, including the completion of documentation to return for credit. Be able to complete daily work orders with supporting comments, drawings or photographs as required.
- Ensure housekeeping of the tool store and GET yard meets Newmont’s standard, using our processes to reduce waste and maximise storage.

**About You**:
With previous experience in a workshop environment, you will hold a C class manual driver’s licence as well as intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Excel and SAP.

As well as the above, ideally you will have:

- A MR class driver’s licence
- High Risk Licences (crane, rigging, dogging, forklift, elevated work platform, working at heights)
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Workshop, stores or maintenance background
