Lead Gardener

Creative Lawns and Maintenance is a family run business who have been operating for over 20 years. The position encompasses a wide range of activities essential for maintaining gardens and grounds. Tasks include caring for a variety of plants and shrubs, weeding, pruning, and trimming of plants to promote healthy growth and maintain aesthetic appeal.

Lawn maintenance including mowing, whipper snipping and edging, fertilising and weed control.

As Lead Gardener, you will be required to drive a manual vehicle and pick the team up each morning. You will oversee the efficiency of the tasks ensuring the workload is completed in a timely manner.

Good communication and customer service skills are essential as there is some interaction with clients.

Key criteria:
*3 years’ experience in grounds and lawn maintenance

*Strong knowledge of lawn and plant care

*Ability to use all gardening tools and equipment - whipper snipper, edger, leaf blower etc.
- Manual drivers licence
- Start/finish location is Canterbury

Salary $70,000 per annum + 11% superannuation - Monday to Friday - 7am start

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
