Associate to The Honourable Justice Sloss, Supreme

The Honourable Justice Sloss is seeking a legally qualified individual, preferably with at least one year's post-admission experience at a law firm (or similar), to be her Associate commencing in early May 2024.
The role offers the successful applicant the opportunity to gain invaluable experience across the Commercial Court and closely observe the work of a judge and counsel.
**Duties include**:
- Undertaking high level legal research;
- Assisting with the production of orders, judgments, papers and presentations including proof-reading and editing;
- Performing a wide range of administrative tasks, including managing the demands of a Judge-Managed List;
- Acting as chambers' first point of contact (particularly when her Honour is the designated (after-hours) Commercial Court Duty Judge), liaising with other judges, Court staff, the public, the media and the profession; and
- Undertaking the duties of an Associate in Court (including the set-up and management of virtual hearings).
