Whseq Manager

Excellent Salary - $150,000 - $170,000 + Car
- Monday to Friday position - no weekend work

Classic Recruitment is excited to be partnering with one of Toowoomba's most well-known brands, to assist them in recruiting their new WHSEQ Manager.

This senior position would suit a seasoned professional who isn't afraid of getting their hands dirty.

One of the major benefits of this role is that you will be home in your own bed every night, while still receiving the salary of a FIFO worker.

The key responsibilities will include but not limited to setting up the routine HSE activities for the construction phase of fast-paced projects, ensuring legal compliance, safety administration, delivery of inductions as well as providing support to Managers and supervisors and safety champions on the ground.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in a safety-related discipline (preferred) or relevant level of experience.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in leadership role.
- Solid understanding of the Planning and Environment Act, Planning Provisions and associated policies.
- A construction background would be of advantage.
- Possess drive, initiative and enthusiasm.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of team.
- C-Class driver's license.
- Experience researching, understanding and implementing safety code of practices.
