Our client is one of Australia’s leading manufacturers of premium aftermarket stainless steel truck accessories. They take great pride in offering an Australian made product. This workshop based role will see you working with a team of professionals who offer a complete service package including vehicle installation of their products and aftermarket products.

**The role**:

- Produce high quality drawings in a timely manner for the manufacturing and installation teams
- Work along side Project Managers, Fabrication and Installation staff to model and offer design consultation
- Amending and improving workshop drawings where needed
- Development of lean drawing practices to be able to produce workshop drawings as efficiently as possible
- Utilise quoting system to quote jobs
- Program jobs for various lasers and water jets

**Skills and experience**:

- Be proficient in AutoCAD 2D and or Solidworks
- Have experience or understanding of metal fabrication (stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium)
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Meticulous organisational skills, the ability to prioritise competing work demands and an ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong focus on Workplace Health and Safety
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Have a self-driven work ethic and a desire to build long term working relationships
- High attention to detail
