We are seeking a highly reliable and experienced ICT Security Specialist with a solid technical background in networking to join our expanding team, to lead and managing a team of network engineers and technicians in the NOC.

**Job duties include**:

- Establishing test servers to simulate the production environment in order to test new security features, functions and configurations for the company network
- Implementing and administering documentation, guidelines, policies and procedures MySQL databases for Radius servers
- Troubleshooting and providing service support in diagnosing, resolving and repairing server-related hardware and software malfunctions
- Implementing and maintaining the company VPN solutions, firewall and ACL to secure the remote access requests
- Monitoring the network performance and analysing logs to detect, prevent and stop any malicious behaviours
- Preparing and maintaining documentation, policies and instructions, and recording and detailing operational procedures and system logs
- Accepting responsibility for the processes, procedures and operational management associated with system security and integrity

**Requirements and skills:**
- Previous experience in a related role, preferably with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Relevant tertiary po post graduate qualification in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and working with other platforms and software, such as MySQL database.
- Experience with SIEMs (Security Information and Event Management), IDS (Intrusion Detection System), and MDR (Managed Detection and Response) platforms (advantageous)
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as AESCSF, NIST Cyber Security Framework, IEC 62443, and ISO/IEC 27001

**Additional Skills and Experience that are highly desirable:**
- Big Data experience (HDFS, NoSQL, Pig, Hive, Kafka, HBase, NIFI, Storm, Ambari or related)
- Linux experience, preferably RedHat or Ubuntu based
- Cloud Virtualisation experience, Azure or AWS preferred

**Work location:**
- In the office and might require visiting work sites in different locations across Melbourne VIC
- Working after hours and callout work may be required

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
