**Role**:
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the principal to deliver a range of services that include publicity and marketing, written and visual communications, community liaison, school website and school social media, promotional school materials, and general administrative duties.

Experience in school organisations preferred but not essential.

**ES Level 1- Range 3**:
The successful applicant will be proactive, supportive, and enthusiastic, with demonstrate excellent administrative, interpersonal and communication skills. They will show initiative in addressing school needs in the area of community communications. They will maintain the standard of excellence required by the School¿s reputation and uphold the philosophy of the School. Qualifications in visual or digital design, marketing or project management preferred.

**Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities of this position will be:

- Coordinates marketing with appropriate staff and external bodies.
- Maintains school website information.
- Review and update school information on parent portals.
- Prepares school publications in consultation with relevant staff (digital newsletters, Annual Report, Staff Handbook, Sub school handbooks, etc.).
- Research, review, and collation of information to support the principal team.
- Prepare appropriate verbal and written responses in internal and external correspondence as required.
- Anticipates needs with regard to communications for meetings or events.
- Coordinates School Council meetings, and other events and functions (invites, RSVPs, catering, equipment, staffing) as required.
- Drafts and distributes correspondence within the school.
- Drafts and distributes correspondence to the wider community.
- Prepares agendas, reports, and presentations for meetings.
- Attends and take minutes of meetings as requested.
- Prepares reports for School Council in consultation with the Business Manager and the Principal.
- Update school policies as required.
- Coordinates ordering and management of promotional item stock levels.
- Coordinates certificates, gifts and cards as required.
- Liaises with clients, service providers and public.
- Initiate ideas for the Principal & Assistant Principals¿ approval that will assist in their work, particularly in the case of communicating with the wider community.
- Other administrative tasks as directed by the principal.
