**Cycle Count Clerk**

We are partnered with global rail business who are currently looking for a Cycle Count Clerk with SAP experience, to join their team in Granville. We are looking for someone with previous Stores Experience, Working Knowledge of a Materials Control Process, High level of material awareness (Part Recognition/BOM Knowledge), and Worked with the 5S process.

**Responsibilities Involved**:

- Employee must work well in a team environment and be able to maintain a good attendance record
- Supervise Cycle Count Schedule on a daily basis to conform to required average
- Recording and reconciliation of Cycle counts, including recording statistics of discrepancies
- Review discrepancies and arrange recounts as necessary
- Audit all material transactions and movements (including PPS) to ensure optimum accuracy at all times
- Work in liaison with supply personnel to ensure audits are carried out as required
- Process the cycle counting results using the appropriate computer function in accordance with procedures
- Active involvement in developing and improving the cycle count process
- Assist in the development of training material for stores staff to ensure stock accuracy is maintained
- When required perform general store duties, within the intent of 8.1(v) of the Certified Agreement 2003.
- Effect counts on specific items upon request from authorised person.
- Publish statistics, as KPI, on a weekly basis
- Support development of company processes to ensure inventory accuracy
- Identify root cause for stock discrepancies.

**Qualifications and experience required**:

- Must have basic data skills for accurate data entry of Counts.
- Be able to print, read and work from a computer-generated report.
- Ability to use counting scales.
- Ability to read component drawings for identification purposes.
