An exciting full-time opportunity for a Baader Technician to join Huon’s Paramatta Creek Processing Facility.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide specialist support in the maintenance and operation of specialised fish processing equipment. You will:
- Provide input and support on the preventative, breakdown, and scheduled maintenance for key pieces of equipment including Baader gutting and filleting machines.
- Examine equipment and machine specification to identify appropriate materials, methods, operations, and settings.
- Assemble fabricated components into finished products and construct tools, machines, and equipment by joining parts and subassemblies.
- Ensure equipment and machine is maintained to the highest standards, maintaining accuracy and in good operating condition.
- Liaise with Engineering and Production personnel to achieve site production targets safely.
Located in Paramatta Creek, this position is offering a minimum annual salary of $79,500 + superannuation.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Relevant Trade certificates and experience with Baader fish processing equipment in a high-speed manufacturing or processing environment.
- Able to prioritise work to provide the most efficient outcome.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of the requirements for preventative maintenance.
- Proactive, resilient, and can effectively manage your workload.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on continually looking to improve processes.
