Cenna Medical Centre is a Dr owned clinic located in Narre Warren South. We are a small close team who work together cohesively to achieve the best Patient care for all who attend our clinic.

We are currently seeking a mature minded person with a positive and caring attitude who is committed to their role to join our team as a Part Time/Casual Receptionist, with the potential to work more hours as the clinic grows.

Cenna MC is open Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
- (Note: our Senior Receptionist will be away on extended leave from 2.10.2023 - 14.11.2023, extra days/hours will be required to work) _

**About the role**

The role of a medical receptionist is challenging, varied and no day is ever the same

**Main Duties and responsibilities**:

- Greeting, assisting and registering new patients,
- Handling telephone enquiries and making appointments
- Processing payments and Medicare claims
- Maintaining operations by following policies and procedures
- Following up on outstanding results and correspondence
- General administrative duties as required by Senior Receptionist/Practice Manager
- Maintaining professional rapport with all patients and health professionals
- Ensuring the reception area is well maintained, neat and clean.

- Knowledge of general administrative duties

**Desirable skills and experience**:

- **Previous experience in the medical industry would be advantageous (Full training will be provided)**:

- Previous reception experience
- Experience with medical software

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Narre Warren South, VIC 3805: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
