We are looking for a Rail Lead to join our team to work on an exciting rail project in the Midland area as part of works delivering and commissioning new facilities and infrastructure for the PTA. The project includes the construction of earthworks, drainage, electrical, building and rail infrastructure. Working in metropolitan Perth this is an exciting project for a Rail Lead to join our team.**Responsibilities Include**
- Delivery of all the rail works included but not limited to Track, OLE and Signalling/Communications
- Promote total job safety and environmental awareness by employees, subcontractors and all persons within the rail vicinity work area and stress to all the importance of safety and environmental matters
- Work with the Interface Manager and Community & Stakeholder Manager to establish a solid working relationship with the PTA including N&I, as well as Arc Infrastructure
- Continuous liaison with PTA and Arc Infrastructure on all rail interface matters for:

- o Rail corridor access
- o Track access for Possessions and Shutdowns
- o Electrical isolations
- Establish and authorise safe work methods and safety controls and carrying out regular inspections to ensure the approved work methods and safety controls are being implemented and followed for all rail construction works
- Organise and coordinate construction activities in accordance with construction schedules so as to complete the works on time whilst constantly monitoring the status of planning, safety, environmental and quality activities
- Ensure that construction crews who enter the rail corridor complies with mandatory minimum PTA and Arc Infrastructure requirements for work in the rail corridor, Fitness for Work, Inductions and Competencies
- Ensuring that all works in PTA and Arc Infrastructure rail corridors is conducted in strict compliance with the Arc Infrastructure and PTA Network Safe Working Rules and Procedures.

**About You**
- Relevant Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
- Relevant engineering experience in the construction industry with a demonstrated success in delivering to budget targets, timeframes, planning and logistics management
- Strong leadership and communication abilities translated into the achievement by staff of individual and team performance objectives and measurement targets
- Competent in understanding and promoting HS&E imperatives and IMS procedures
- Competent in negotiation and client relationship building accompanied with a sound understanding of contract management and cost containment
- Demonstrates flexibility and resilience in dealing with complex issues, looks for approach change and deploys sound problem-solving methodology
- Competent in use of all in-house software
