- 259203**Our Federal Government Client is seeking an InfoSphere Specialist (SME).**
- Provide expert advice and support on the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the IBM InfoSphere suite of products, including DataStage, QualityStage, Information Governance Catalogue, Data Replication, and Address Verification Interface.
- Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using InfoSphere products.
- Optimize, performance tune, and capacity plan InfoSphere ETL platforms.
- Train and mentor staff on the use of InfoSphere products.

**To be successful in this role you should have**:

- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least ten (10) years of previous experience working as an InfoSphere Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a data warehousing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of IBM products including Cloud PAK for Data, Message Queue (MQ), WebSphere, and Tivoli System Automation.
- Proven experience in each of the following: Teradata, DB2, and Snowflake.
- Proven experience in optimizing, performance tuning, and capacity planning across InfoSphere ETL platforms.
- Knowledge of IT Security principles and practices.

**It is desirable if you have**:

- High level written/verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work.
