Room Attendant/housekeeping

**Job Opportunity: Room Attendant - Housekeeping**

Location**:* **Newcastle, NSW*

We have an exciting opportunity for a Room Attendant in our Housekeeping department. _This position requires weekend work and a keen eye for detail_.

**General Duties**:

- Perform general cleaning tasks, including toilet cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, glass cleaning, and dusting.
- Clean guest rooms, including stripping and making beds.
- Oversee the daily cleaning and presentation of public areas, including common areas, bathrooms, lounges, reception, and corridors.
- Be fully conversant with health and safety obligations.
- Maintain cleaning standards in accordance with contractual requirements.

**Training**:

- On-the-job training will be provided. However, previous cleaning experience will be highly regarded.

**Requirements**:

- Previous Hotel Cleaning/Housekeeping experience.
- An eye for detail.
- Ability to work unsupervised and stay well-organized.
- Well-presented with a professional approach.
- Police check, or willingness to obtain one.
- Full work rights within Australia.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.10 - $54.18 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
