**About the role**:

- CTM is continuing to enhance our modern data platform (AWS / Databricks), with this role reporting to Lead Data Engineer you will have opportunity to establish data foundations and provide technical leadership to engineering team and broader business stakeholders. _

**Job Specific**:

- Dive into Data Analysis, Profiling, Discovery, Mapping & Extraction.
- Engage with stakeholders through Data Workshops & Requirement Synthesis.
- Collaborate with system owners to unveil hidden data gaps.
- Craft meticulous Documentation of Interface Specifications.
- Uncover Data Quality issues and document them for action.
- Map data to perfection according to target data models.
- Be the guiding light for Developers & Testers on technical rules and exception handling.
- Unearth the hidden treasures of technical and business metadata.
- Contribute to a thriving Data Literacy & Culture within the organization.
- Showcase your impeccable planning, organizational, and time management skills.

**Qualifications**:

- _Minimum Bachelor’s Degree qualified in Computer Science, IT or a relevant discipline _

**Experience & Skills**:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally with 8 years in IT/data.
- Extensive experience in data analysis, profiling, and mapping.
- Mastery of data modeling layers (conceptual, logical, and physical) and techniques (Dimensional / Data Vault).
- Proficiency in using SQL for data profiling and analysis.
- Bonus points for experience in Python/R.
- Familiarity with Modern Cloud Data Platforms is a big plus.
- Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end Data & Insights life cycle.
- Outstanding communication and business engagement skills.
- Prior experience in an Agile environment using tools like Jira and Confluence

As a Data Analyst, your goals are focused on the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of data artifacts. This includes:

- Defining Business Processes & Requirements.
- Capturing Business Requirements to fuel our data journey.
- Defining the scope of Critical Data Elements.
- Masterful Data Profiling & Quality Analysis.
- Uncovering Historical Data Gaps for insight.
- Crafting Business Rules that guide us.
- Mapping the Source and Target for UDL Models.
- Ensuring the Validation of UDL Models with precision.
