**Job Description**:
Toll Global Logistics - R&I is searching for a hands on Driver Trainer, to play a key role in the ongoing training and development of drivers to increase service quality, and the heath and safety of employees. The scope includes implementing training for inductions, courteous driving, customer service, driving skills and safe work practices.

Based in Laverton or Dandenong South Victoria, you will report to the National Operations Manager and have the opportunity to work across several states, overseeing the Plastics and Paper business unit, with scope to oversee Chemicals. Make an impact on site by developing business critical training initiatives, and implementing them across a geographically dispersed workforce.

As a Driver Trainer, you will:

- Assess drivers to ensure compliance and understanding in security, OH&S, run planning, code of conduct and presentation.
- Ensure regular training for drivers based on the drivers manual and include new developments as operational systems or procedures change.
- Coach drivers to safety carry out work procedures by ensuring the work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and legislation.
- Participate in any incident investigations as required and implement follow up actions.
- Report to management on training needs, performance issues, and process improvement suggestions.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Experience in a similar role within the Transport/Logistics Industry.
- Open MC License (unrestricted) and Cert IV or Diploma in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110).
- Dangerous Goods qualification or experience highly regarded.
- Strong stakeholder management ability.
- Ability to travel interstate when required.
- Awareness of Workplace Health and Safety policies and legislation.
