Our client is currently seeking an experienced WHS Advisor for their Eastern Creek Office.

This role is a Permanent position to start ASAP with a very large Infrastructure maintenance company that works around transport infrastructure mainly roads and civil. They operate a 24/7 operation.

This is a Monday to Friday role with flexibility to cover others on shift which mean you may occasionally be required to start later and finish later. If major incidents occur that may need your senior experience to assist other team supervisors etc. however nothing unreasonable is expected.

This role is a combination of office/depot based and site based with a hands-on attitude required. You will be required to work with staff on the ground as well as office we would expect that coaching and guiding our staff and contractors in a respectful and helpful manner is essential. Trust is key and great attitude is required to ensure the best possible outcomes.

You will be reporting to the senior WHS Manager.

This role is about hands on experience in particular high-risk work such as live plant & mobile equipment in particular arounds roads & infrastructure maintenance.

To be successful in this role you will require the below experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role as a WHS Advisor
- Tertiary Qualified in WHS/HSE from Cert 4 to diploma depending on experience.
- Experienced in a hands-on environment - Roads & Civil highly regarded.
- Experience around High-Risk Work is essential (Plant, Trucks, electrical etc.)
- Experience in working with Sub Contractors
- Heavily experienced in compliance and reviewing - SWMS, Safety Observations, Pre-Starts, Hazard & Risk Identification.
- ENABLER System experience highly regarded.
- White Card
- Driver's License
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
- Willing to undergo a Pre-Employment medical with D&A Testing

This role may require a National Police Check as well as a pre-employment prior to commencement.

This role is for an immediate start however we are able to work with notice periods.

Salary is based on experience.
