**Opportunity**

Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering **Design Manager** based out of Western Sydney.

The key function of this role is managing to manage the Engineering Design Team to deliver D&C water treatment projects and engineered systems for clients across ANZ. You will oversea mechanical, process, civil and electrical disciplines.

From concept design through to project delivery, you will be responsible for the coordination of technical team members to deliver targeted outcomes across tendering, asset development and project design requirements.

**What you’ll do**
- Lead all engineering and technical activities across both tenders and project delivery.
- Management of the detailed design process to ensure all deliverables satisfy contract, procurement and project delivery requirements.
- Develop and manage the internal collaboration of the design team with the bid and project delivery teams.
- Management of capital project financials through budgeting, reporting and reviewing.
- Develop and implement standardised equipment specifications across SciDev’s internal asset fleet.
- Develop and implement standardised specifications across the procurement of D&C equipment and installations.
- Assist in the strategic planning of the business growth.
- Assist in the management and implementation of company quality, safety and environmental management system.

**About You**
- Experience and commitment to safety and quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and detail-oriented.
- Tertiary qualification or relevant industry experience in environmental, civil or mechanical engineering
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in relevant industry problem-solving skills and must be detail-oriented.
