**The role**:
Reporting to the Business Manager, as a Counter Salesperson, you will provide efficient and exceptional customer service to our large and varied customer base.

This is fast paced role that will require strong multitasking skills and the ability to use your initiative.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Lismore NSW.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Provision of customer service, including effectively actioning customer requests and enquiries.
- Counter sales, including the promotion of an extensive and diverse product set.
- Actively stay connected with customers and build strong, long-term working relationships.
- General warehousing duties as required.
- Stock control, including re-stocking shelves and packing orders.
- Some manual lifting will be required.

**To be successful in this role**:

- Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, so your ability to build relationships and establish rapport is second to none.
- Client-focused and a real team player, you are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and providing the best solutions for your clients.
- You are excellent at managing your own time and a real “self-starter”; you don’t need someone looking over your shoulder to get things done.
- You’re a driven and passionate professional with experience working in a customer-facing role.
- Previous experience in the Fastener, Industrial and Construction Supply industries would be an advantage.
