Warehouse Operations Support Manager

**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity exists with Victoria Police within the Supply Chain & Logistics Branch, Logistics and Operational Support Division for an experienced and talented manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team across warehouse support functions, logistics, and inventory.
Reporting to the Manager, Supply Chain and Logistics, this newly created role is to support logistics functions and processes, Inventory Management, Asset Disposal and demand planning of over 2500 sku's of uniform and equipment required by Victoria Police members.
The Supply Chain & Logistics Branch provides supply management, logistics storage and dispatch capability for critical operational resources, ensuring Victoria Police is equipped to support policing operations. The Branch also provides a service for the effective management of the disposal of police assets, forfeited evidentiary and unclaimed/abandoned property.
Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.
**Your duties will include**:
- Manage and lead a team supporting functions for supply, warehousing and distribution of Uniform and Equipment.
- Manage processes of receipt, storage, and disposal of evidentiary property.
- Demand planning and Inventory management of over 2,500 inventory sku's
- Management of strategic projects.
- A strong focus in people management, safety, and culture.
**As the successful applicant, you will have**:
- Proven senior leadership experience including leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to develop and nurture talent through people development, leadership coaching, and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into frontline service delivery and achieve desired outcomes and results.
- Proven ability to implement, evaluate and improve service delivery to achieve the best outcomes for service users.
- High level communication skills, including the ability to write high level, concise reports, briefs, and correspondence.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the proven ability to establish and sustain effective working relationships through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
**Requirements and relevant information**:
- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- This position is located in Inner City - Melbourne.
