**About the role**

Join Youi's dynamic marketing team as we embark on an exciting journey to enhance our broadcast media strategy We're seeking a talented individual to assist in the development, execution, measurement, and optimisation of Youi's broadcast media activities. As a key member reporting to the Broadcast Media Lead, you'll act as the bridge between the Lead and our Media Buyers, contributing to the execution of our strategy. This is a hands-on role within a small team, offering the opportunity to engage in various aspects of media planning with some media buying when necessary.

This newly created position presents a unique opportunity to become an integral part of Youi's in-house marketing department, where you'll have direct involvement with decision-makers. We're searching for someone with a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of the media landscape and data utilisation, impeccable attention to detail, and excellent relationship management skills honed from experience in either in-house, agency, or media partner environments.

Key priorities:

- Assist in developing and optimising audience-focused media strategies and media plans aligned with business goals.
- Ensure seamless integration of media schedules with digital initiatives for maximum impact.
- Analyse metrics to optimise media activity and adapt to evolving trends.
- Leverage insights for enhanced effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Safeguard brand reputation through strategic placements and budgetary adherence.
- Manage media activity to maximise impact within budget constraints.
- Guide teams in delivering top-tier campaigns and fostering accountability and collaboration.

**Ways of Working**

This role provides a hybrid setup, based at our Sunshine Coast headquarters, allowing for remote work on Mondays and Fridays if desired.

**About you**
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or equivalent.
- Relevant experience, specialising in broadcast media buying and planning.
- Strong background in digital broadcast media, audience targeting, and media research tools like Nielsen CMV and Roy Morgan (4+ years is a general indicator).
- Proficiency in developing media campaigns across various broadcast media channels, including developing plans from a media strategy, liaising with media partners, and briefing media buyers.
- Analytical mindset translating briefs and audience insights into effective media plans.
- Established professional relationships with key media owners.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with TV platforms like Spectra (formerly BCC), Mediawise (Optim8), TVmap, VOZ, RADIOmap, or similar tools like eTam (Landsberry & James).
- Preferred experience with digital video platforms including Facebook Ads Manager, Google DV 360, Google Campaign Manager.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
