**About the opportunity**:
As an AOD Counsellor of the established Catalyst Program, you will have an opportunity to further develop your clinical skills with a diverse group of participants both as an individual counsellor and group facilitator.

The role will also provide support with the development and delivery of evidence-based individual and group therapeutic interventions intended to assist participants to establish healthier lifestyles free of problematic alcohol and drug use; and assist participants to avoid and better manage relapse.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have a relevant health and or welfare Tertiary Qualification such as Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or Allied Health Sciences. You will also bring with you:

- Experience in working with AOD or dual-diagnosis clients.
- Experience providing drug and alcohol assessment/counselling activities.
- Group work will be highly considered.
- Demonstrated knowledge and some experience with case formulation, development of Individual Treatment Plans and discharge planning.
- Capacity to facilitate a range of therapeutic and psycho-educational groups, including group interventions for families and significant others.
