**Planner**

The WA Engineering team is seeking either an experienced **Planner **or** Engineer** that may be interested in transitioning into a potential planning career pathway within Georgiou.

The role is to support both tender and project delivery teams with development and management of programs and project controls.
- The successful person will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a **Planner** or **Engineer** with a desire of a potential planning management career pathway.
- **What you’ll do (but not limited to)**:

- Reviewing construction drawings and specifications to develop a strong understanding of the project scope, task durations and project deadlines.
- Liaising with management to determine the sequencing required to complete the project scope
- Developing and maintaining project schedules in Primavera (Contractor or Project Management modules) for tender proposals in line with Georgiou standards and requirements
- Enhancing schedules prepared during the tender phase for awarded projects and handing over to the Project Manager prior to commencement of the project
- Assisting project teams with the training and development of personnel in regard to planning and scheduling as required
- Develop commercial experience with variations and claims for delay
- Earned value management and reporting
- Resource loading and man hour collation

**You’re one of the best. Someone with**:

- To be the successful applicant you must possess solid communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of Primavera, Microsoft Project and Advanced Excel.
- You will ideally possess 3 years’ experience within a planning or engineering role within the Civil Construction Industry; experience within the engineering sector will be very highly regarded. This role will be Head office based.
