Hi, we’re **Detector Inspector,** and we are passionate about making homes safer.

We conduct over 500,000 smoke alarm, gas and electrical services per year nationally with a mission to make every home safer. Our team love a challenge, we strive to learn, and we seek out opportunities.

Due to rapid growth within the business, we have opportunity available for an experienced **A Grade Electrician** to join our successful and passionate team around **Launceston, **within our **Electrical Smoke Services Team **as a contractor for one day per week.

**What you'll be doing with us**

Reporting to the Electrical Manager, **the purpose of your role is to make homes safer **by completing maintenance and testing of 240V smoke detectors, as well as some 9V battery powered detectors and RCD testing in residential properties.

With work currently available for** 1 days** per week, the night before each workday, you will receive a schedule on your phone that will assist you in managing appointments for the next day. You will start your day from home to your first appointment, whilst utilising an app to record your process. Each inspection can vary between 10-30 minutes to ensure a property is safe and compliant, whilst travel time between appointments can vary.
