Fairbridge Village Pinjarra is unique in that it is a holiday destination for locals and tourists, boasting its 30 heritage listed cottages as accommodation amongst bushland, featuring a range of facilities including a 98-foot swimming pool and tennis, basketball and beach volleyball courts. Enjoyed by school camps and visitors.

Along with its CARE school that focuses on the development of local youth to achieve educational and training outcomes, leading to long term employment opportunities. To achieve its goal, Fairbridge operates both a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) as well as, Fairbridge College, multi-campus secondary school for Youth-at-Risk. Our vision is to empower young people for a better future.
We do this by offering educational, personal development, and community-focused initiatives for children, youth, and families.

This is where you come in as an all-round handyman. A ‘Jack of all trades.’ You will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of Fairbridge village while mentoring youth in grounds and landscape as they complete their apprenticeships, traineeships and work experience. You will also be responsible to support with the minor repairs.

**Key responsibilities**
- Source relevant tools and materials as required and ensure storage compliance, where required.
- Lawn care: Mow and maintain the lawns to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
- Pruning and weeding: Regularly trim shrubs and trees and remove invasive plants to promote healthy growth.
- Planting: Select and plant flowers, shrubs, and trees that enhance the aesthetic appeal of the grounds.
- Sprinkler system maintenance: Repair and maintain sprinkler systems to ensure proper water distribution across the grounds.
- Fence repairs: Carry out minor repairs to ensure fences are secure, aesthetically pleasing, and structurally sound.
- Mentoring and empowering at risk youth to achieve their training outcomes.
- Support the maintenance team by carrying out minor repairs.
