**About our Centre**:
Our newly purpose built, family orientated Service provides a home away from home for the little ones in our community. Nestled in Quenda Estate, we have onsite parking with public transport only a short walk away. The service is located next to the future Wattleup East Primary School which is estimated to completed in 2024.

We have a diverse team of passionate and collaborative educators who believe the education and care of our children is paramount. We strongly believe in empowering our educator’s professional growth and provide opportunities for career progression through the company.

The Buttercups way focuses on developing and embedding meaningful relationships with the children, families, and educators within our service. Through building our foundational relationships it allows us to scaffold the children’s learning focusing on their development and individual interests.

**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a Food Co-ordinator who is passionate about providing children a healthy and balanced diet to support their development and growth. You must have the ability to maintain a standard aligned to Health Regulations and meet any dietary requirements.

**Qualifications required**:

- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Police check
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Current "I'm Alert Food Safety" Certificate
- Child Protection
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (preferred)

**Your key priorities will be to**:

- The ability to work within a time frame to prepare food requirements
- Be able to manage the individual dietary requirements of children as well as the main meal
- Able to understand and complete the daily records required by the Food Safety Act
- Be responsible for maintaining the safety and hygiene of the kitchen
- Maintain a positive working relationship with team members
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-37.5 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 37.5 per week
