**Direct Care Assistance (DCA)**, a leading NDIS service provider, is currently seeking a Female Disability Support Worker to provide exceptional care services to a client based in **Glen Waverley** and support our client with various needs.

As a Support Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life and well-being of our client. This position requires commitment and dedication to delivering personalized care and ensuring the client's specific needs are met.

**Shifts**:Tuesday and Wednesday 9am-5pm (on going shifts)

**Start Date**:ASAP

**Person Specification for Support Worker**:

- Must have a car and valid driver's license
- Must be a female support worker as per the client's needs
- Must have at least 1 year experience handling clients with mental health disorder

**What You'll be doing? (Essential Duties)**
- Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, toileting, and dressing.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills.
- Collaborate in the completion of care plans, risk assessments, reviews, and incident & accident reporting.
- Provide support for the client's daily routines and activities.
- Facilitate community access and engagement.
- Participate in both in-house and external activities.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Comfortably interact with pets, including dogs.

**Support Worker needs to have**:

- Current relevant qualification.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Eligibility to Work in Australia.
- Working With Children Certificate.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (3 shots required)
- Police Check (Fit to work is acceptable).

**Job Types**: Casual, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $33.00 per hour
