- **Your Opportunity**

Reporting to the Regional General Counsel (Asia Pacific New Zealand and Australia) based in Melbourne, your role is based in Melbourne as in house legal counsel advising on mainly construction related projects in Australia.
- You will be responsible for providing practical and commercial legal advice and support to project teams bidding for a wide range of construction industry related projects. The projects range from small to very large multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects.
- You will be working with a team of high performing lawyers located in the Asia Pacific region where your professional development will be supported and encouraged. The role will require looking after the legal requirements of the Melbourne office with daily interaction with project teams, as well as providing legal services to other regions including interaction with regional senior and executive management.
- Your role encompasses a wide range of duties. These include reviewing and drafting contracts, engaging in negotiations with clients, offering advice on construction industry matters, litigation, corporate governance, and compliance, as well as conducting legal training for staff, and providing risk management guidance.**About you**- Legal degree with a minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience with substantial construction law experience too.
- Admitted to practice law in Australia with a current practising certificate and fluent in English.
