- We will have opportunities at all levels, and you will be working on a variety of mineral processing design projects in collaboration with our teams around the Globe. The opportunities can be based in Brisbane.
- Our team supports studies, tenders and projects across the globe and across multiple commodities including Gold, Copper, Iron ore and Lithium. To allow us to meet the upcoming workload the team is looking at innovative ways to improve our efficiency in design whilst maintaining the right outcomes for our projects and clients. We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Drafters to join our team.**The role will require but not be limited to**:

- Structural steel and concrete design 3D modelling and detailed drawings from conceptual sketches through to detailed design, under direction of engineers or a supervising design drafter
- Ensuring processes are checked, reviewed and completed. Reviewing of designs to ensure accuracy and compliance in line with Australian / International and Sedgman code Standards
- Support the continuous improvement of design systems used by the organisation and investigate new drafting techniques and drafting equipment and recommend changes to standard practices
- Participate in the review of designs and advise on technical drafting difficulties or government compliance requirements as appropriate
- Ensure project time and cost KPI’s are met - monitor effectiveness of designs, scheduling of work, resource requirements and review compliance with project execution plan (schedule) and client expectations.

**What are we looking for**:

- Technical Design degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in design/consultancy/operational environment
- 3D modelling AutoCAD, Navisworks, Advanced Steel/ Prosteel or similar package experience
- Metals and heavy industry experience would be highly advantageous
- Shop detailing experience would be highly advantageous
