Events Officer

This new role is accountable for providing event management to the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation (CCEF).
The Events Officer role will focus on providing a high level of events management, fundraising and general support and will have responsibility for any relevant CCEF activities and projects.
The role operates with some degree of autonomy, making day-to-day decisions relating to work priorities and workload management under the guidance of the Executive Officer.
**ABOUT YOU**
You are a highly motivated individual with demonstrated experience in coordinating promotional campaigns and events management while managing multiple projects and demonstrated ability to manage a complex database and the ability to report and analyse data across multiple technologies with high attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
You will have highly developed communications skills and ability to liaise effectively with students and staff at all levels and from a range of backgrounds with a commitment to dealing with equity issues associated with vulnerable cohorts.
You will also have excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders together with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Excel, MC Word, PowerPoint and ability to use various software suites and databases.

**Qualifications required for the role**:
- Relevant qualifications at a minimum of Degree level in areas of Events, Marketing or similar Business discipline or lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in coordinating activities - people and resources - in events, in areas such as hospitality, retail education or customer service.
