- **Up to $106,833.56* p.a. total salary package ($91,198.89 - $96,681.96 + 10.5% super)**:

We are seeking an FOI Coordinator to manage requests in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 1992, as well as provide awareness of FOI responsibilities throughout the City.

**As our Freedom of Information Coordinator you will be responsible for**:

- Administering the Freedom of Information (FOI) process for the City of Melville in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 1992.
- Providing training to City of Melville staff on Freedom of Information processes and practices.
- Assisting the Enterprise Information Coordinator to improve information handling practices to enhance the City’s use and retention of information.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders in relation to Freedom of information matters.
- Implementing Open by Design principles throughout the City in order to ensure the appropriate, prompt and proactive disclosure of City-held information outside of the FOI process.
- Providing advice and support relating to information management queries and projects.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- Tertiary qualification in Law, Records/Information Management, Information Technology, Governance or extensive relevant experience.
- Current National Police Clearance.
- Demonstrated experience in Information Management and Electronic Document Management Systems.
