Lifeful NDIS are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Manager for our Therapies department.
As the National Manager Therapies, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the Therapies team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients across various NDIS funded therapies, including Positive Behaviour Support, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Exercise Physiology.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Team Management: Manage and lead the Therapies Team, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to team members to meet the therapy needs of each client in line with their NDIS plans.
- Supervision and Development: Conduct regular team and individual supervision meetings with the Therapies team members, remotely if needed, to support their professional growth and address any performance issues.
- Growth and Diversification: Lead the expansion of the Therapies department into a comprehensive and diverse therapies offering, encompassing a range of NDIS funded therapies, as per the strategic growth targets.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all practices and processes within the Therapies team adhere to the NDIS practice standards, and comply with relevant reporting obligations to regulatory bodies.
- Quality Service Delivery: Ensure that supports provided by the Therapies team offer a high-quality, person-centered experience to clients, meeting their individual needs and desired outcomes.
- Leadership and Innovation: Provide strong leadership to the Therapies team, monitoring industry trends, and identifying opportunities for continuous innovation and competitive advantage.
- Collaboration and Networking: Collaborate with practitioners, allied health professionals, and relevant stakeholders to address challenging situations, improve service delivery, and foster partnerships.
- Professional Development: Support team members in their professional development by facilitating training opportunities and attending relevant industry events.
- Case Management: Oversee the completion of case files, client notes, and progress reports to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage potential risks related to service delivery, participant wellbeing, and team operations.
- Compliance and Policy: Ensure the team's compliance with disability service standards, relevant legislation, and organizational policies.
- Incident Management: Manage critical incidents as they arise, providing debriefing and support to team members and engaging with internal support functions as needed.
- Client Case Load Management: Allocate approximately 60% of the National Manager Therapies' time to maintain a client case load. The National Manager will directly engage with clients to provide therapy services, ensuring the currency of their skills and staying connected to the frontline service delivery. This involvement will also serve as an example to the Therapies team, inspiring them with best practices and person-centered care. The National Manager will use their expertise to address complex cases, contribute toindividual planning, and offer guidance on implementing therapy interventions effectively.
