The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Transport and Warehouse Operations Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with the Transport and Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations and address any escalations from the Delivery Fulfillment Team. Your primary objective will be to ensure the achievement of business performance goals each month, ensuring timely delivery fulfilment and revenue recognition.

As a Transport and Warehouse Operations Specialist, you'll be at the heart of the action, engaging hands-on and managing diverse stakeholders cross-functionally. You'll be the driving force behind seamless operations, from Accounts Receivable to Sales, Customer Service, State Managers, and beyond.

Role and Responsibilities

Daily Operations- Supporting direct reports with dispute escalations from all channels (e.g. Sales team, Retailer)- Working with internal stakeholders to investigate anomalies such as customer payment disputes between Accounts Receivable- Working in collaboration with sales team to provide update as required to align with delivery fulfilment progress- Reprioritising workload based on business needs- Collaborate with SCM Team on outbound planning to support business forecast needs- Work with each business unit to ensure effective management of SEAU product transportation, including Finished Goods, Spare Parts and Returns.- Ensure all partners deliver DIFOT to SLA agreement- Raising Delivery Futile Notification (DFN) Return Approval

Reporting and Analysis- Monitor and report on Delivery Futile Notice numbers (DFN) and Invoice on Delivery (IOD) progress to management- Assisting the Supply Chain Management Team (SCM) with planning- Analyse delivery failures, manage DFN aging and escalate to 3PL or internally to reduce sales and logistics returns- Ensure all external partners (SDS and DHL) provide IOD & POD to agreed level in SLA- Ensure all deliveries are complete per the customer RDD (Requested delivery date), escalate to resolve issues with logistics provider

ADHOC- Supporting with implementation and execution of corrective action plan to mitigate risks.- Focus on driving operational improvement within Delivery Fulfilment- Building and developing reporting dashboard (project)

Skills and Qualifications- Degree qualified in Logistics or related discipline (desirable)- Minimum 3 years' experience in the logistic, transportation, warehouse space- Customer solutions focused with the ability to resolve and diffuse situations- Proficient in MS Powerpoint and proficient in MS Word- Intermediate MS Excel (Pivot tables, V Lookup and general formula)- Experience as a people manager is desirable- Knowledge of logistics operations is highly desirable
