Here at the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) we have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Data, Monitoring and Assurance, to manage and drive a team of audit and data analytics experts in performing core regulatory functions associated with the receipt and validation of gambling data, the monitoring of licensee’s operations and compliance with obligations, via the use of the gambling data, and conduct of operational assurance functions. The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) is an independent statutory authority which regulates Victoria's gambling industry. **The opportunity**

As part of RSD, the Data, Monitoring and Assurance team:

- monitors the operations of the various gambling products and licensees via general analysis of the data to drive more in-depth intelligence and/or operational investigation of key risk patterns identified
- ensures the adequate protection of stakeholder entitlements (player/operator/Government), using the gambling data, to assess the fair distribution of each participant's entitlement to gambling revenue,
- This team covers all gambling products including the casino, gaming venues, wagering, lotteries and keno.
- The primary responsibility of this position is to proactively drive the team in conduct of its functions and the assessment of gambling risks to assist the Gambling and Casino Divisions in driving appropriately regulatory processes to achieve the required regulatory outcome.

**Key responsibilities**
- Provide leadership, expert advice, clear direction and support to members of the team
- Ensure the team delivers on the assessment and mitigation of key gambling risks, with appropriate intelligence escalated to the relevant areas to drive regulatory responses
- Ensure all key legislative/regulatory requirements that exist in relation to regulated entities, that can be appropriated monitored and audited using gambling data received by the VGCCC, are appropriately audited and monitored by the team
- Provide appropriate reporting to the Audit and Risk Management Committee, the Executive Management Team and the Commission of the VGCCC, as required, to ensure these key stakeholders have visibility to the processes employed by the team in relation to data, monitoring and assurance functions
