We are seeking a **Subcontracts Specialist** who will coordinate, manage and conduct a range of tender and agreement management activities in support of business activities within our C-27J Spartan Program.

**Key duties & responsibilities**:

- Deliver subcontract management expertise for the lifecycle of subcontracts and supplier agreements required to support the business
- Collaborate with supply chain and internal colleagues to be aware of all active and developing subcontract issues.
- Review and manage subcontractor performance, ensuring that agreement(s) deliver value for money, and are aligned to the agreed strategies of the business/ program.
- Lead / co-ordinate / support the resolution of subcontractual claims and issues.
- Provide advice and guidance to the business with regard to all subcontractual matters in the achievement of business objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to execute effective supplier relationship management and drive continuous improvements within the relevant subcontract arrangements
- Provide the necessary service and collaboration/ support to the programs, internal and external customers to maintain and expand business opportunities
- Provide guidance to the Program and the Procurement Team as to when a subcontract and/or a formal statement of work is required in addition to standard Purchase Order terms and conditions
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop subcontract specifications and work statements necessary to enable a commercial review.
- Prepare bid packages, analyse and evaluate proposals, and lead or support negotiations with potential suppliers.
- Negotiate terms and conditions associated with new subcontracts / supplier agreement as may be required to facilitate the completion of a competitive review.
- Arrange for execution of associated agreements in accordance with company policy and procedures-collaborate with the Program and Procurement Team as required
- Assess agreements that are in place across the business to determine if they can be expanded to include services for the respected operating unit as required

**Essential Qualifications & Experience**:

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field of study
- Demonstrated Leadership and Management of geographically dispersed teams
- Proven strength in negotiation, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
