**About the Role**:
Having been in operation for over 50 years, our client is an expert in their field, providing printing, labels and flexible packaging options to a variety of commercial businesses. Their professionalism, high quality workmanship and excellent customer service in this time, has seen them now grow to become one of Asia Pacific’s leading label manufacturers.

Due to their on-going growth and success, they are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator/Warehouse Assistant who has excellent problem solving skills, is highly motivated and possesses the ability to work autonomously, accurately and can prioritise their work.

Reporting to the Team Leader and Production Manager, you will be responsible for pick, pack functions, running finishing machines and receipt and despatch of a high volume of orders daily. This is an autonomous role, ideally suitable to someone who has demonstrated experience in a high volume warehouse and despatch role, has high level forklift skills, a stable work history and above all, is passionate about their performance and the quality of their work.

**Duties**:

- Receipt and despatch of orders, adhering to strict deadlines and KPI’s
- Accurate pick, pack and despatch of finished goods and consumables
- Assist with wrapping of pallets, unloading and loading of trucks
- Ensure there is a continuous supply of boxes, tape and other consumables
- Assist with quarterly stocktakes
- Tidy, clean warehouse, ensuring all goods are allocated and stored correctly
- Adhere to company WH&S, manual handling and PPE policies and procedures

**Skills and Experience**:

- Min 3 years demonstrated experience in a warehousing/forklift role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible team player, who has the ability to work autonomously and responsibly
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items correctly
- Proven ability to adapt and learn quickly
- A high level of honesty and integrity
- Well developed work ethic
- Intermediate level of computer skills, with the ability to pick up new systems
- High respect for workplace health & safety
- Forklift licence, with 3 plus years recent experience
