**About the role**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Delicatessen Manager to join the Khans IGA Group team in Picton, NSW. As the Delicatessen Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the successful operation of the delicatessen department within our vibrant local supermarket. This full-time position offers the chance to lead a dynamic team and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
**What you'll be doing**
- Managing and supervising the delicatessen team to ensure efficient and effective daily operations
- Maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation and customer service
- Monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies and managing inventory to minimise waste and maximise profitability
- Implementing effective merchandising and display strategies to drive sales growth
- Providing excellent customer service and resolving any customer queries or concerns
- Contributing to the overall success of the supermarket by collaborating with other department managers
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and food hygiene regulations
**What we're looking for**
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Delicatessen Manager or similar role in a retail or food service environment
- Food Safety Supervisor and Food Handling certification is essential
- Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Strong operational and inventory management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
Supplementary Pay:
