Lifeguard

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking for an experienced and qualified Sport and Recreation Attendant employee for a casual position located in Woomera Village. This role will offer 11 hours a day. Accommodation is inclusive along with an attractive hourly rate of $45 per hour.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

- Knowledge of Healthy Living, able to instruct Pilates, Yoga, Fitness and Swimming lessons
- General pool management
- Overseeing Emergency Action Plan
- Checking/using the pool rescue equipment
- Supervising bathers, ensuring they adopt safe water entry and pool area practices
- Intervene in any non-safe practices

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE?
- Pool Lifeguard Qualification
- First Aid Certificate
- Perform CPR
- Perform basic water rescues
- Re-qualify in all lifeguard specific competencies annually
- Must be able to obtain a police check
- Willing to obtain a working with children check
