Electronic Instrument Trades Worker

**About the role**

We are currently seeking an Electronic Instrument Trades Worker (General) preferably with knowledgeable and prior experience with electrical instrumentation and production equipment.

The successful applicant will be required to work in industrial manufacturing and production environments to meet strict maintenance, process and production deadlines.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
**Tasks**
- examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose for workload and production settings
- adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instruments
- reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment
- advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions
- installing electronic instruments and control systems

**Skills and experience**

Applicants will need to possess recent experience in Electrical or other equivalent Technical background with trade/diploma qualifications and at least 5 years of work experience in the industry along with.
- Good knowledge of concepts, principles and practices of electrical/mechanical systems.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to read and understand technical documentation, drawings, manuals and OEM guides.
- Working knowledge of diagnostic, mechanical and electrical tools and equipment.
- Able to service and support equipment, including mechanical, electrical and electronic repairs.
- Must be a team player.
- Registration or licensing may be required.
