Key Responsibilities:

- Review and analyse project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Conduct site visits to gather information necessary for accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment required for construction projects.
- Utilise construction estimating software and tools to prepare accurate and timely estimates.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates and resolve any discrepancies.
- Identify and quantify potential risks and opportunities associated with the project.
- Prepare and present cost estimates to management and clients, including detailed breakdowns and explanations.
- Update and maintain a database of costs, prices, and other relevant information for future reference.
- Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process, identifying and addressing any deviations from the original estimate.
- Provide support and guidance to project managers and other team members regarding cost-related issues.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role (at least 2 years of relevant work experience)
- Proficient in Blue Beam, AUTOCAD, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project which are the set of software implemented in the company and required for the position.
- Develop and enhance processes to increase the accuracy of results and overall performance of the estimating area.
- Proficiency in utilizing AI to streamline and enhance the precision of job-specific procedures.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field (preferred).
