**WHAT'S ON OFFER**

Our client has the requirement for a Design Manager to join the team in the Brisbane office. This role will see you work across either a large scale complex project or perhaps across a couple of projects pending size and complexity. You will get involved ECI Phase working with their clients on negotiated projects.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Value engineering / management and project management of the whole design process
- Managing relationships with consultants / architects and the performance of external consultants
- Co-ordinate design activities to ensure the achievement of quality, completion and design budget objectives
- Manage the process of milestone design reviews including ensuring that client sign-off is achieved and recorded at appropriate stages
- Liaising with clients to develop design briefs in accordance with cost plans
- Managing design in accordance with cost plans and construction programmes and monitor the quality throughout construction process

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- Construction Management Degree or a Degree in Architecture
- You will have either come with demonstrated experience working in architecture however highly regarded if you have experience working for the head contractor in similar roles.
- Worked on projects in Industrial, commercial or Retail
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Computer literacy and experience with reporting systems
- Sound leadership skills and solid problem-solving abilities
- An energetic and dynamic approach to Construction
