Indigenous Engagement Specialist

We are currently looking for an experienced Indigenous Engagement Specialist to join our team based in our Perth Support Centre in Balcatta in a 12 month parental leave position

Your ability to effectively communication, build rapport and engagement is fundamental to this role as you will be working closing with operational leadership, clients and external communities.

**Role Accountabilities Include**:

- Lead Indigenous Engagement activities and contract deliverables related to a key Sodexo Energy & Resources portfolio.
- Act as a conduit between Operations and Support Functions to identify and progress Indigenous Employment and Procurement opportunities both TLO and non TLO related.
- Work closely with two TLO Joint Venture Partners as per the parameters outlined within the respective UJV Agreement_s, _including document management and supporting strategic stakeholder meetings.
- This role is a key support to the Indigenous Mentor and is expected to guide, support administratively, be the voice to put forward and drive initiatives relating to ATSI employment and retention.
- Additionally, this role is responsible for KPI Tracking, Reporting and Adherence and will contribute to preparation and presentation for Client QRM’s
- There is an element of travel to the Pilbara required, however it is considered adhoc, and often flexible.

**Preferred experience Includes**:

- Delivering key Indigenous Engagement Initiatives and/or activities
- Exposure or experience working with TLO Groups, Indigenous Businesses and Indigenous Employees
- Exposure to Indigenous recruitment and employment activities
- Experience working in the Supply Chain/ Procurement Field (preferrable)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (preferrable)
