**The Opportunity**:
The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for a Parliamentary Service Level 6 Broadcast Technology Analyst within Digital Recording Services Branch.

As a member of the Broadcasting Technology and Projects team, you will identify, analyse, and assess emerging technologies to inform the modernisation and ongoing growth of the Australian Parliament’s broadcasting and media capabilities and related infrastructure and contribute to their implementation.

This is the ideal role for someone that enjoys engaging with new technologies, questions the status quo and is confident in evaluating current workflows to introduce change, improve current service offerings, and add new services for the betterment of DPS and its’ stakeholders.

**Job Specific Requirements**:

- Previous experience in broadcast, A/V or technology projects would be advantageous
- The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 (Confidential/Highly Protected/Secret) security clearance.

Under limited/general direction undertake duties in accordance with the agreed standards for the Parliamentary Service Level 6 classification. The duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Identify, analyse and assess emerging technology solutions to inform the modernisation and ongoing growth of the Australian Parliament’s broadcasting and media capabilities and related infrastructure.

3. Facilitate open communication and discussion with diverse stakeholder groups in support of the delivery of new capabilities and change, aligned with the department’s vision for modernisation.

4. Identify stakeholder groups when assessing risks, issues and dependencies to prioritise requirements and resolve potential conflicts between differing user requirements, supporting them to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty and change.

5. Provide advice to others, consolidating information from multiple sources to offer feedback that balances strategic and organisational objectives.

6. Contribute to the implementation of broadcasting and media technology and processes that align to business strategy and objectives, and deliver outcomes that sustain transformational change, continuous improvement and a client service focus.
