Special Forces Operator

**The Role**:
As a Special Forces Operator, you’ll be part of a diverse workforce that is always evolving because the strategic environment is ever-changing. **Your duties include, but aren’t limited to**:
- Operate as a member of a Special Forces team in a multi-team field and urban environment employing Special Forces tactics, techniques and procedures
- Operate and maintain a variety of in-service ADF and Special Forces weapons
- Participate in live fire range practices, including those specific to Special Forces training and operations
- Insert using basic static line parachute techniques onto land or water
- Negotiate vertical obstacles as a member of a Special Forces team in a multi-team field and urban environment employing SF tactics, techniques and procedures
- Insert or extract using Special Forces airborne roping techniques

**Salary**
In the Army you'll get paid a good salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications. Upon commencing training, your starting salary will be approximately $56,385 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation and your pay will increase as you progress through training.
As a Special Forces Operator, once passing selection course, you could earn $99,295 per annum plus generous super. On the successful appointment as a Special Forces Operator with assignment to a regiment, your salary could increase to $132,445 per annum plus generous super.
**Entry Requirements**:
For this role, you must be an Australian citizen, over 17 at the time of enlistment, and have completed an Australian Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English and Mathematics.
